5 stars because of the fun I had riding the Beast of the East! Cafeteria had limited options and was pricey, but considering that it's similar to an amusement park, the food was reasonably priced and quickly prepared with ample seating. The waits for the rides are also far shorter than posted. Got through a full line (45 minutes) for the "Beast" in about 20. Hit up the zip line earlier, I missed out.
I like it here, the slopes are nice the lodge is great because of the good and amazing hot chocolate! The only thing is that some slopes said "easy way" and all and since every first day of the year I go easy I went into apparently an easy path but to run into intermediate paths after because of no easy path choices. Other than that great!
A ski trip is not complete without a stop at this place. The best waffle you will ever have.
Take Rams Head quad up, then ski down staying skier Right to K1 Gondola.

Great spot! We were visiting the area for the weekend and glad we found this spot. Got a few beers and hid from the cold.
If wanting a bread bowl for the Top lodge, grab a bun and scoop it out.
